WHAT IS A COMBINED SESSION?
Two approaches, one coherent plan
Acupuncture and manual treatment are not treated as two unrelated procedures. Natasza selects and combines them around the purpose of your appointment and how your body responds on the day.
Some people choose this appointment when they have tension in several areas, stiffness, physical overload or discomfort that changes with movement. Others already know that they respond well to both needles and hands-on treatment.
HOW IT MAY WORK
Needle stimulation combined with movement and touch
Acupuncture stimulates sensory nerves in the skin and deeper tissues. Research explores how this may affect pain processing, muscle sensitivity and nervous-system responses.
Manual techniques use movement, pressure and stretch. They may create short-term changes in tension, comfort and ease of movement. They do not permanently “realign” the body or put bones back into place.
Evidence is stronger for some concerns than for others. Each person may respond differently to the combination.

Brief information about the reason for your visit is collected before the appointment.
You discuss how you feel, relevant health information and movements or positions connected with the problem.

An explained plan
Natasza suggests the order of hands-on work and acupuncture. Treatment begins only after you agree.

Treatment adapted to your comfort
Movement, pressure and tissue work are adjusted to your comfort. You can say if anything feels too strong.
Natasza selects the points and uses sterile, single-use needles. The number and location depend on the agreed plan.

An unhurried finish
There is time to check how you feel and discuss individual aftercare when it is useful.
COMFORT DURING TREATMENT
What might you feel?
During hands-on treatment you may feel pressure, a stretch or gentle joint movement. Acupuncture may cause a brief prick followed by warmth, tingling, heaviness or a dull ache around a point.
Treatment should not cause severe pain. Tell Natasza what you feel so she can change the pressure, position or plan.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move. If access beneath clothing is needed, Natasza will explain this first, prepare fresh towels and leave the room while you change if you prefer.
You may feel relaxed, sleepy, lighter or temporarily tender in an area that was treated. A small bruise can sometimes appear after a needle.
SAFETY AND SUITABILITY
Every person is considered individually
The service name describes selected manual techniques used by Natasza. She does not present herself as an osteopath, and this appointment is not an osteopathic service.
Pregnant clients, children and people with complex medical histories may be seen after an individual assessment.
Because this appointment includes acupuncture, Nat Medica does not provide it to people taking anticoagulant medicines.
If anything in the conversation or your response raises concern, Natasza may change, postpone or stop the session and recommend medical assessment.

Good to know before your visit
Do I need to choose which treatment comes first?
No. The order follows the conversation and the plan agreed during your appointment.
Are both methods always used for the full 90 minutes?
The 90 minutes includes conversation and an unhurried finish. The balance of hands-on treatment and acupuncture depends on your needs.
Does acupuncture hurt?
You may feel a brief prick followed by warmth, tingling, heaviness or a dull ache. Tell Natasza if anything is uncomfortable.
Are the needles sterile?
Yes. Only sterile, single-use acupuncture needles are used.
Will I need to undress?
Not always. If access to the skin is needed, Natasza will explain this before treatment and protect your privacy.
Is this osteopathy?
No. It includes selected manual techniques, but Natasza does not present herself as an osteopath.
How many appointments will I need?
There is no honest way to decide this in advance. Possible next steps are discussed individually and you decide whether to return.
Can I book if I take anticoagulants?
No. Nat Medica does not provide appointments involving acupuncture to people taking anticoagulant medicines.
