What clients say

WHAT IS PINESK?
Small press needles within a wider facial session
Pinesk needles are small and superficial. They allow selected points to receive gentle stimulation for longer than a brief insertion with a standard needle.
This is a more extended treatment format, but it does not automatically produce a better result. Choose it because the method appeals to you and fits the agreed plan.
WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT RESULTS?
Realistic expectations are part of good care
Research into cosmetic facial acupuncture and superficial press needles is limited. There is not strong evidence for promises about permanent lifting, collagen production, wrinkle removal or a set duration of results.
Some people describe their face as more relaxed or rested. Others notice little. Your individual response matters more than the number of needles used.
YOUR APPOINTMENT
What happens during a Pinesk session?
- 01
Conversation and assessment
Natasza asks about your aims, skin, tendency to bruise and relevant health information.
You will know where standard needles may be used and where superficial Pinesk needles are being considered.
- 02
An explained plan
Make-up does not always need to be removed completely. Natasza will explain if part of the face needs to be cleansed.
- 03
Treatment adapted to your comfort
Sterile, single-use needles are used. Their number and location follow the agreed plan.
You rest in a comfortable position while Natasza monitors how the treatment feels.
- 04
An unhurried finish
Every treated area is checked and any relevant aftercare is explained individually.
SENSATIONS AND AFTERCARE
Gentle does not always mean unnoticeable
Pinesk needles are superficial, but you may feel pressure, tingling or sensitivity at a point. Standard needles may cause a brief prick, warmth or a dull ache.
Minor redness, small marks or a bruise are possible. If you are booking before an important event, allow for that possibility when choosing the date.
SAFETY AND SUITABILITY
Every form of needling needs an individual check
Nat Medica uses sterile, single-use needles and does not provide this appointment to people taking anticoagulant medicines.
Pregnancy, a child's age, recent aesthetic procedures, active skin problems and complex medical histories are considered individually.
If anything raises concern, the session may be changed, postponed or stopped.
Common questions
Good to know before your visit
What does Pinesk mean?
It refers to small, superficial press needles used for gentle, extended stimulation of selected points.
Does Pinesk give a stronger result than standard facial acupuncture?
This cannot be promised. It is a different form of stimulation and the choice depends on your preference and treatment plan.
Does it hurt?
You may feel pressure, local sensitivity or a light prick. Tell Natasza if anything is uncomfortable.
Do I need to remove my make-up?
Not always. Natasza will explain whether part of the face needs to be cleansed.
Can it cause bruising?
Yes. Minor bruising or small marks are possible because the face has a rich blood supply.
Is anything left on my face afterwards?
The process and finish are explained before treatment. Natasza checks every treated area and gives individual information at the end.
Can I book if I take anticoagulants?
No. Nat Medica does not perform needling treatments for people taking anticoagulant medicines.
